Please identify this sailboat emblem for me!!!

Looks similar but my boat is a 21ft, not a 24.

I'm really hoping a sailor stops in who has owned a boat with the emblem or been on one and can identify it.

I got a sail for a mac 21 coming, i'm hoping it fits.

I measured the mast and boom but i'm not 100% on how to fit the mast to the boom.

I got right a 21 ft for the luff and 9 ft for the foot. The boom and mast are laying on my porch.

I don't really see a spot on the mast to hang the boom. I'm hoping someone can help me out with a pic or diagram of some sort.

Some smaller boats will have a goose neck on the boom that inserts into the sail track. You will see no obvious goose neck on the mast. Post some photos of both ends of your boom and the area on the mast where you think the boom should go.

It's a Westwind 21. Roger MacGregor first built the Westwind 19 which had a more blunt bow. He reconfigured it to the Westwind 21 which later became the Venture 21. The V-21 had a sliding gooseneck with a downhall fitting. Later they went to fixed gooseneck with a reefpoint in the main. Fair Winds and Full Sails...

looks like the venture 21 sails are almost the same!

as soon as the rain lets up i'll post pics of where i feel the mast/boom connect

while crawling under the cockpit of the boat to remove rusty hardware i found the numbers "64" under the left hand side of the cockpit.

I'm guessing that may be what year it was made.
