PLEASE hELP

Hi All

I am new to this site and to sailing. I had a lot of boats in the past but now I bought my first sailing boat. The problem is I do not know the brand. The previous owner told me that it is a Groozer, UK built (papers lost), but I cannot find info on the net for that brand. This is a 27 foot fiber sailing boat with removable aluminuim mast. I will try to attach a picture

That's a neat looking boat. The only Groozer I know of came from Chrysler and had four wheels. Depending how old the boat is, you may find a Hull Identification Number that can be decoded to identify the builder. Look around the hull below the rubrail for starters.

Never seen one like that. The hull lines sure look like a Herreshoff 28.

It is 27 feet fiberglass hull with wood trimmings, aluminuim mast which can be removed, therefore boat is trailable. No inboard engine - it only takes an outboard. Is there a website were I can enter these details and search for brand?. Thanks again

You might try contacting Good Old Boat and send them the image. See if they might be able to identify the boat.

Very nice looking boat. You could be deailing with a custom/home built boat.
