Can I get a little assistance here.?? I read Mainesails posts religiously, and I have a great deal of respect, not only for his writing, and his photographic abilities, but also his boat skills. But his boat is always so clean and neat and tidy. So, just once, I would like to find even a spec of dirt anywhere on his boat. That would make me feel much, much better, and not so much like I sail a garbage scow. So, if anyone sees a pic of Mainesails boat, with a spec of dirt, or heaven forbid, oil, would you please bring it to my attention.:)
Maine, I don't know how you manage. I don't think many of us had a boat that clean the day it was brand new.

It is unsettling to see Main'sls spotless bilge. I've tried to clean my bilge and engine room but there are just too many areas I can't reach.

I feel your pain Nice N Easy! I think his shaft coupling is cleaner than my galley.

and uses a cedar bucket so he doesn't have to dirty the head.

He clearly don't live in my area. Here the ospreys poop on everything. He just needs a few stray birds. Maybe throw a few fish on the boat while he is gone and we can get the birds to eat them and then poop. We will keep a camera handy.

Hell, Mainesail's engine is cleaner than my cookware. I don't see how he has time to sail because his boat is kept so spotless.

Then again, maybe he is just really good at editing the photos in Adobe Photoshop!

quick--we take some pix of my newly repowered dirty bilges and chop them into his purrrrty boat pix and voila and ta daaaa.....some specks of dirt........lol

Naw. It won't be clean enough. He'll cut out the panel and refinish seamlessly.

an owner that has a clean bilge is the type of person who get's out of the shower to pee......

Great roast guys!! Trust me my boat gets dirty and has dirty areas but you'll never see them.;) She is also NOT perfect.....yet....:D I just try to keep ahead of it as best I can and the Looooong winters help..:):)

Sorry to have not checked in sooner but I have been getting ready for launch tomorrow and at the last possible minute, tonight at 6:00 p.m., the hose barb that drains the mast gave up the ghost. Fortunately my local hardware store was open and mirraculously had a 3/8 X 18 NPT tap so I up sized the barb and re-tapped. Ready for launch day..!

Hey, it isn't laziness. If you get out of the shower to pee it just isn't efficient. Besides, it won't hurt me! ROTFL.

That everyone took this as it was meant. Just a little tounge in cheek fun, and a left handed compliment to Mainesail. I continue to be amazed at his boat. His bilge is cleaner than my galley sink.
