I purchased my first boat 15 years ago and at that time I used a combination oil/grain sealer on my outside teak. Since then I changed to Sickens but now want to switch back. Only problem is that I can not remember the name of the other oil/sealer. Must be old age. It came in a quart can and was very very thin with a brownish orange color. I believe it came in a "natural" color also. It was put on with a brush and if you got it on the gelcoat it was very hard to remove. I have looked in the usual places who sell oil but can not find it. (if I saw the name I would know it) With the info I provided does anyone know the name of this oil/sealer? Thanks

Deks Olje -maybe

;Maybe Deks Olje was the product you used. It comes in a quart can in matte or gloss.

I Remember Now

I just remembered. The name is SEMCO. It is a teak sealer made in Maryland. Thanks to those who tried to help.
