Right now I have a hard dingy but I'm looking at buying a Plastimo 7.9' P240 Inflatable Dingy for my trip south for two reasons # 1 It won't sink and # 2 I can stow it easy. I have a little trolling motor that I will use with it. Anyway my question is to anybody that has one. How do you like it? Does it work well for a (get you by tender)?

Plastimo has provided good service

I have been using a plastimo dink for 3-4 years now. No problems and it has good capacity because of the tube size. I run a 3.3 hp OB on mine and that gets me where I need to go. Tom S/V Miss Jenna

CONSIDER:

A shorter dinghy will give you a horrible ride. Simply, get the looooogest dinghy you can afford. Get the idea? Stu
