Plastics Engineer

I have an idea for a marine product that could potentially be of interest to every person on this board, and want to discuss potential technical problems with getting this to market with a plastics / process engineer who also may be willing to work with me to get this product to market. Anyone on the board a plastics or process engineer that would be potentially interested in a side project?

Details will be sparse as I don't want to give much away until a patent is filed, assuming there aren't technical limitations preventing the manufacturing of my idea.

A couple of weeks ago, I had interest to find out the similarities between Delrin and Acetal plastic. In my internet search, I came across reference to a book about plastics: characteristics of and molding/fabrication methods. I didn't stay on the site long, but my impression was that the book was written with the non-technical inventor/entrepreneur in mind ... rather than as a desk reference for a engineers.

I mention because this route (if you haven't already done) might be a way for you to help self-access the practicality of your idea ... before you risk divulging to third parties.
