I have four opening Beckson ports that cannot be see through. They are 34 yrs old and are really bad. You can barely tell if there's a boat in the next slip. New lenses are pretty pricey and got the idea of trying one of the headlight cleaning processes that recently came out for car headlights. Bought a bottle of Meguiars without all the pads etc (minimal investment in case it didn't work). removed one and cleaned it up with soap/water and started buffing. I was amazed. I did the other three. They're certainly not like new but I'm going to keep em. In some small areas, there are an imprints of screens that used to be there though.
