Hello All, after an uneventfull search for pirate alert sites for cruising sailboats I have found only one so far. I thought I would ask the expert cruisers and knowledgeable web surfers.
My husband and I are in the planning stages of a South Pacific/Southeast Asia cruise and would like to keep abreast of the pirate alert areas for that area and return to the states. Any other fun & helpful thoughts on the area are also appreciated.:dance: Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the replys. Noonsite has been the site I have been following, thank you.
Took me awhile to join the cruisers forum but have to admit I hadn't even seen them listed in the forum chat list. We'll see what that turns up.

Always safe to cover all your bases and cruise with as much info as you can to make intelligent decisions. Doesn't mean you need to stay out of the area you'd like to explore, just dot your i's and cross your t's. Since the latest occurance to cruisers happened in St. Martin we've all read it could happen anywhere.
Really fun to see other northern latitude sailors on here! 48deg north should be our byline
