Pinole replacement

Good morning,

I am the new owner of a 1971 daysailer. On our shakedown cruise the bottom rudder Pindle broke. I used some wire to hold in place for the day (probably not a great idea) . The replacemen parts on the Oday store here are out of stock, any suggestions where I should look?

Don't know what the Daysailer looks like, but Duckworks has a nice selection of Racelite rudder hardware. Hardware - Sailboat Hardware - Rudder & Tiller - Pintles - Duckworks Boat Builders Supply The Daysailer is still in production by Cape Cod Shipbuilding

D and R marine should have it. I had the same thing happen to my Oday. It was cheaper (and easier) to buy it from them than the manufacturer
