Has anyone ever encountered a pin hole leak in the aft cabin fiberglass an inch or two from the engine coolant through hull? We were examining the boat today (a 2001 331) and noticed some water. After wiping it down, came down and notice more water. The water is kind of a seeping leak. We are having someone look at it but wanted to find out if anyone had any experience with this before. Thanks.

Well I have a 331, 2004 model, and have not seen any water leaks. There are two seacocks, one for raw water cooling and the other for the prop. Pull the boat out and see if you can find the leak from the outside. Strong light will help. Also check if thru-hull is secure.

One other thing, if you have A/C, instead of letting the condensate run in the bilge, install a Mermaid condensator. It will keep water out of the bilge and kep your boat smelling sweet.

I have weaping happening that collects under the shaft when motoring, it appears to be the shaft coolant nipple, I just posted on the other thread where it broke off. Mine is weaping slowly. The purchase surveyor pointed this out. Here is the repair kit from bene: Part : 460646 Descrip.: STERN TUBE FITTING REPAIR KIT, in stock, $34.93 . I'll do it next haul out.

Thanks for all your help. It turns out that one of the screws for the raw water cooling through hull needs to be re-seated. I need to have her hauled to do it. I had a mechanic take a look.
