Help me understand where pictures are posted when people post replys to questions and I cannot see a link

no ...people just talk about the picture in the "above post" and there is no thumbnail

Hi Lost,

If you have an ad blocker running you may need to create an except for our site. Sometimes that will block images like this, too.

Okay, you cannot see the thumbnail. What operating system are you using?

Phil may have it figured.

Ad blocker is a good choice. Also, when I am at work I cannot see some pics that are embedded in the post itself, thumbnails I can. Our proxy blocking is the reason. So if you are on a work computer that could also be a reason you cannot see the pics.

I'd suggest getting another job if your workplace is responsible for your not seeing the pictures :eek: .

What next .................. not allowing "sick days" to go sailing ? I'm so glad I'm out of that :D.

You mean "I'm sick of not being on the boat" isn't a legitimate sick day where you work? I'm so glad that I am self-employed!

lost, if you want to direct a comment at someone or thing in particular, use the "reply with quote" feature on the post in question, that way you isolate the source of your irritation.heh, heh.

What I do on my break time is my fine with my employer. I also use the web in my job as a software developer. If I surf during my lunch break how is that different than someone reading the paper or going out for lunch. In the immortal words of our beloved Sgt. Hulka, "Lighten up Frances!".

Spoken like a true reactionary without any real information about who they are responding to or the situational facts.
