Big thanks to Sam Lust for posting very helpful pics of his 33 on its traveling cradle. Does anyone else have a pic or more of the 33 showing the keel and mast location from the side. I would like to know precisely where to locate things on a trailer I am building. I will post pictures for all when I get underway. Thanks Porter Claytor

Sam's boat is shoal draft, I think

Don't have a postable picture right now, but H33's come in two keel configurations, shoal and deep(5'3"). The deep draft have a different keel configuration that does not sweep to the rear and may not exactly be in the same starting point - I would think they may be different enough that we need to hear from someone who knows. I know my 1980 deep draft looks nothing like the picture Sam posted.

I agree, looks like a shoal draft

The keel on my H33 is much longer than the photos. Even with the shorter keel, hauling that big boat around on a trailor looks dangerous. I get nervous when the yard hauls Liberty from the launch/haul slip to the storage area in my cradle sitting on a special hydrolic operated trailor. Then, they use a tractor to pull it. I hope you don't have far to drive. Ken Palmer, S/V Liberty
