If you belong to a Yacht Club then it's likely they have a Sail Chairman. Plan "B" is to contact PHRF Northwest. Another Plan B is to talk to someone in your marina who races and they should be able to give you good input.

here is another site

Here is another site on which you can compute your rating or plug in your boat type and they will give you a number. All of the boats I put in were slightly askew from my club's ratings, but it will give you an idea. Beyond boat type & year though, there may be some changes for folding props, size of headsail, etc. Joe

PHRF setup

PHRF rating certificates are given out by your local PHRF committee - probably PHRF NW, as noted in other posts. US Sailng publishes a book of the different ratings for the different PHRF areas for most production boats. You don't say what you have, or someone with the book could look it up for you. Because PHRF is theoretically based on actual performance, ratings for the same boat may vary in different parts of the country. A boat that flies in the typical heavy breeze of SF Bay will sit like a rock in what passes for a wind on Long Island Sound. Have fun!

affiliate with a yacht club...

...there are many "paper" clubs that are very inexpensive. They will help you get a rating.
