The local PHRF committee has assigned my 1989 Legend 37 a rating of 111. I have a 135% mylar genoa, dacron main, asymetrical spinnaker and feathering propellor. How do other areas rate the 37?
Your rating is quite fair but you will need to have a #1 for winds below 18 kts. The #2 (135%) that you mention is not good for competative racing, but for beercan stuff its OK. Howerver, you'll find that a #1 will be your most used headsail.
