PHRF Rating for Hunter 34 - Shoal Draft

I was given a PHRF handicap base rating of 146 plus 6 for a fixed 2 blade prop for a total of 152. This doesn't compare with 168 given to Hunter 34 in the GYA fleet. My boat has a shoal draft keel. Where can I find a website listing for the PHRF rating for Hunter 34 shoal Keel.

It depends where you are

Every PHRF area sets there own ratings based on local conditions, light to high winds, seas etc. I race a H34 deep keel on Lake MIchigan out of the Chicago area, and have a PHRF Spin rating of 135, and JAM of 150. The important thing is the spread between your boat and the competition. For more information talk to your local/club PHRF handicapper, or contact me.
