I have some photo's of the 27, 10 in total - not sure how to post them for you. Some under sail (pdf format from the sales lit), others are detail shots of the interior etc. If any one is interested let me know how to get them on line. The forum only lets you post one and I have picture on the trailer, salon, cockpit, galley, etc. If any interest let me know how to do it and I will get them up on this site.

Nice Photos

Nice photos where did you get a look at the Hunter 27. Was it as dark inside as your pictures seem. There doesn't seem to be much light getting in the cabin. Also the slider for the cool seems like a setup for failure. How much weight does it look like it can handle and if the boat is piching when it is slid out the force could weaken the sildes. I guess I will have to try and get a look at one of the boat show but it doesn't seem like a winner to me from the pictures.

Nice Boat!

It's amazing how much room is in that (compared to a Columbia 28 and O'Day 27 I had). Imaginative use of practical space. I assume this is the deluxe version. It packs a lot of features into a compact space and should do a trick for someone who doesn't want the operational/maintenance expenses larger size brings but wants a fully-featured boat. I am really glad they have a performance version too and hope they define a one-design class. I have always felt Hunter needed a signature 'performance' model to show its design expertise on the race course and get some branding lift with it. Now it would be nice to have something in the larger size range along the lines of the Bene 40 series or J-boat. Probably a bit hard to justify when you are at production capasity, but it would do well for branding (and ego too). Rick D.
