Time! Phil, Thank you for a place that I search every day (not counting days on the water)to see what I can, want, and learn anyway. I have followed this forum for ....well you know. I am happy that you have maintained this forum that is valuable for newbies as well as old salts... no names shall be mentioned. I do miss some of the old guys. OK, Don Evans, Justin Andreas now ESQ. Tom Emkee etc. I hope this has been profitable to you in some way. It has been invaluable to me. Not just the info or the input but the likemindedness of the posters. I still hope that posters consider their posts and the effect that it may have on another poster. I hope that when people post they do it as though they were the ones asking the questions, need good information. As a reminder to posters, this forum does have a CHANDLERY on a tab at the top of the page. THANKS Phil, for giving us a place to talk. Sincerely, r.w.landau

Like I've said before...

All we do is empty the wastebaskets around here. You provide the content, and it's _very_ good. Thanks for the kind words! ph.

Be a little lost down under for we haven't any forums. Yes it is one that I check every day for the latest input.

Ditto all of the above. And thanks to you and all the posters. The shared information offered with a sense of family is endearing and invaluable.

I also agree

Every morning I have a rotation of sites I check. One is the Drudge report and another is this one. I look upon this like a facimile of the local coffee shop or our club's cocktail lounge where I can go to warmly greet my friends. I'd be lost without it. John Richard s/v Jack's Place

I don't want to clutter. . .

up this thread. So I won't tell you how much I have learned from HOW since 1998. I try hard not to use it more than five or six times a day.

R.W.... I'm still around,,,on the Cat site

My thanks to Phil also. I just took a look at my review of the 272 written years ago. Nowadays there is so much going on at sailboatowners.com that I usually go to the archives to find an answer rather than ask the same thing yet again. It's still like family... but like any family when the kids get older, you don't see them as often. (Hope that analogy works... Tom Ehmke Cat 30 Windigo
