Real Good

I have been reading the Pettit web site and they say to remove all the ablative paint before adding hard paint and that is why I will not be adding hard paint my next bottom job

That chart I posted earlier? The one that specifically says that you do not have to remove ablative paint before applying Trinidad? That's from the Pettit web site.

I wil

Yes but when I was looking on Pettit web site and reading the prep instruction under the can of hard paint it did say remove all abaltive or do a good job sanding and good job removing most of the abaltive and use some other primer or some thing else.
I will look again but I am afraid when I do a new bottom in about a month
or so to go all the work and $$$$$ and being we leave our boats in water for
mang years in fl. before another bottom job just don't want it to not work.
I am planning to use another hard soft abaltive from Sea hawk after a friend
has gotton 4 plus nyears with a diver every 6 weeks and been very happy,I did use Pettit SR60 last bottom job and not happy after 2 years.
