Am planning on purchasing a live-aboard in Kemah. Not sure on which marina for docking but I am favoring Waterford. To all those that are live-aboard in the area: what do you do for an address to receive mail?

I thought putting your slip number where they ask for apartment number was perfect. After all, you need a physical address for UPS to deliver all the stuff you order from SailboatOwners and Defender. Just think of the look on the delivery person's face when they realize there are no apartments at this location.
The Kemah and Seabrook post office locations have PO Boxes available. www.usps.com under the "Track and Manage" tab is "Rent or Renew PO Box" near the bottom.

I would ask the office at your preferred marina. If it allows live aboard tenants, the marina could make allowances for mail delivery.... Having a physical address is preferable for many reasons.
