Patrick, thanks for the reply

Pretty sure it is the hoses giving me problems, the hoses are original equipment (in anticipation of doing the hose replacement, I flushed the tank out about 4 or 5 times before going to the boatyard - inside already smells better). The PO had drilled holes in the bilges per advice on these boards so that seems to be not a problem. Just hope there isn't a problem with the tank permeating also as I really don't want to tackle a job of that scope (spent almost every WE last winter working on the boat and my SO was getting a little upset)- got a problem with a leaking water tank lid that I also need to tackle over the winter - guess it never ends.

We are on A dock. I would be happy to compare notes with you on this job. We will not be back down to the lake for two weeks. I plan to get the job started then by removing the existing hoses.

Sounds good Doug. I'll probably be starting mine around the same time. Have to do the water heator, move the diesel tank and batteries first as well as deal with some kinked extrustions towards the top of the roller furler. It would be nice to get all the H31's together sometime. I count at least 6 at Orleans Trail and I don't know how many at State Park Marina yet. Do you sail in the sailing club regattas? I did years ago and am thinking about it again when I get this H31 sorted out. Well... again I'm at first spot on G dock or possibly H4 after this weekend if you need some help etc.

Kudos for AER Supply...

Yesterday, AER Supply out of Seabrook, TX, agreed to replace, free of charge, the five-year old Odorsafe Sealand Technologies hoses on our boat. The representative at AER, Philip, has been very helpful in suggesting how I might install a combination of Odorsafe hoses and PVC piping. I think people who conduct their business in this matter need more "AER" time.

Hey Doug, Is "Patriot" your boat ? If so, looks like it's in pretty nice condition. Who made the deck cover? Sounds like AER Supply is a stand-up kinda company. So, are you just going to replace the "low" lying hoses with PVC?

To Jeff...

Yes, The Patriot is our boat. The cover was made there in Stockton by Denise Strickland. She operates a business called Stockton Upholstery. Yes, we have decided to go with PVC on the horizontal and Odorsafe on the vertical sections.
