I've got a 4.108 Perkins 4 cylinder...1978 version in my newly acquired old boat...does anyone know of a local parts source in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area? I know Perkins parts don't have to be the marine version except for the specialized parts like the sea water pumps and heat exchanger and such, but I can't seem to find a dealer of any sort for these engines by using an internet search. The closest I can find is TransAtlantic Diesel which I think is on the east coast....or Foley, also on the East coast...anybody got a local source?
