To any Catalina owners with in Perkins inboard diesel: I am looking for recommendations for the best motor oil for this engine. Had it one season and ready to change oil and filter. Mine is a 1994 model and the Perkins website does not address this particular model.:naughty:

I use Rotella T 15W-40W in my 1994 C270.

Thank you for your recommendation. I think that is what I use in my Dodge Cummins Diesel.
We love the 270. No more than they made of this model, our boats may be sister ships. Seems like our hull# is 0067. I don't imagine you have to deal with winterizing, but that is what we are preparing for. Just wanted to change the oil first.
