Cap, Great block with lots of life. The 4108 & 4154 were very common in large motoryachts, used as drive systems for Kohler generators.Parts are always available, maybe contact Kohlerre;older model generators for more info.RL

It Powered my Coronado 35

We had the Perkins 4-108 in our Coronado 35 Sloop we lived and cruised aboard for three years. That engine was incredibily reliable and very powerful for our boat. We drew 5'6" which is asking for trouble on the ICW. whenever we bumped, a quick increase in trhottel drove us off 99% of the times. The Westerbeke and Perkins are the same blocks as parts are interchangeable. We had no problems obtaining tune-up/filter parts throughout the east coast and their is great support from the factory and of course the mechanics who praise this engine.RegardsBob
