I am seriuosly considering getting this boat. I was wondering what kind of real life performance owners were getting in a 15 knt beam reach wind with the boat equipted for cruising and not racing. Any general comments will also be well appreciated. Thanks. Allan.

Same as a 410

Same basic hull as the 410. The 420 is a 40 footer and it sails very well. I sailed the 410 and loved it. In 12-15 knots I beat at 8 plus all day. What a groove that boat has, better than my 380, though that's fine too, the 410 had a great feel. Good Luck Bob Knott H380
