Hi All, Plans are complete for the Pensacola winter cruise starting Feb 18 and sailing for six days. This is a trailer sailing gathering of denizens of the Trailer Sailor Group and the Catalina 25/250 Association. Our float plan includes Predido Cut and Destin-Choctawahatchee Bay. Pensacola offers a good choice as the ICW there will allow cruising with a choice of Gulf waters or if weather is intimidating .... staying within the barrier islands. This is an independent affair with each skipper solely responsible for their boat but sharing of information, assistance and fellowship should make it a nice gathering. Pensacola is a great location for another reason, it is accessible from a large area with a one day drive from Texas, Midwest and Carolinas. The sailing waters are claimed to be fantastic and though there can sometimes be cold weather in February, it is usually pleasant with a good breeze.
