At the risk of throwing a wet blanket on all you in the frozen tundra of the far north, I have to report that I am heading out tomorrow. Helping a friend move his boat. A short hop over to Pennsacola from New Orleans. Plan is to head out in the morning, make a run over to Cat Island, and then offshore to P'cola. Weather forecast is for winds from the NE around to SW, as a low drifts off. Seas 1 to 3 feet. First offshore trip this year, so am really looking forward to it.
