Porta Pottie 255 Peggy, Apparenty there is a check valve in the flush hose between the flush bulb and the bowl. It is apparently stuck, and won't alow water thru. I've checked the bulb and the flapper valve and it's all working fine. Thinking that it could be clogged, I've tried clearing with water and air pressure to no avail. Using a mirror looking down the discharge fitting in the bowl, I can see a spring. Problem.....How the heck do you remove the fitting and the tube in the bowl so as to repair, replace or whatever? Surely, I don't have to toss the whole thing?? I suspect that the whole unit must be split at the seam, repaired and glued back together. Your help is very much appreciated......Gary

If you know the mfr....

Drop by a marine store and take a look at the installation/operation directions...most of 'em include some kind of drawing and list of any replaceable parts. In fact, since most portapotties are pretty much alike, whether you know which brand yours is may not even matter. Or...for about $50 you can replace the whole thing.
