Iam trying to find a set of bow and sternn Pedestals for a Hunter 27 1982. I just baught the boat.Got a nice deal but a few things are missing. Any one know of any boat salvage yards or maybe a place that may sell or fabricate snd sell. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks Kerry

I think that you mean pulpits, not pedestals and there is a company called tops in quality that can make them for you. They aren't cheap, but they do great work try the link below

Bow and Stern Pulpits
I'm in the process of replacing our smashed bow pulpit. It has been ordered from a company that allegedly made them for Hunter. Unfortunately, I only know that they are in California. You may want to contact Hunter or a local dealer and ask if they can identify the OEM that made them for your model. You may also inquire if any local sailboat service shops (important to get a satisfactory result!) can fabricate them for you. White Water Marine of Port Huron, MI advertises in "Good Old Boat", a strictly sailing magazine, if you are not familiar with it They repair/manufacture all related stainless products. Link attached. I believe that High Seas made the SS
I believe that High Seas made the S.S. for Hunter during that era. I had a H25 that was delivered without a stern pulpit. The added them on the year following our model. I ordered a unit from them and mounted it myself. I believe that High Seas is out of business, but someone else may have the drawing.
