does anyone know of pedestal table plans that i could make from starboart? also any brackets? i saw that edson has a hardware kit for the do-it-yourselfer, but that hardware kit is over $200, too steep for me mike

Taco Metals has the hinges

Mike: I think that Taco Metals has the hinges. You can also purchase a table from AFI or H & L Marine. I think they will see you the parts too.

Mike: I did not find them at Taco Metals, but here is a link. They are called Butler Tray Hinges.

I made one out of wood.

It rests on my "Snapit" cupholders on one end and has a single hinged leg that rests on the cockpit deck on the other end . The height is adjustable and I may modify it by making a longer leg that angles back to attach to the steering pedistal. When not in use, the leg folds up underneath and the whole thing comes off and goes in the lazerette. Not very hi-tech but I,ve only got $25 in it and it works fine. I'd send a picture but for some reason, I can't get the site to give me that option anymore.
