Hullo!

Looking for some general information on these boats. I've got my eye on one, but I've found very little information and can't get to Dan Pfeiffer's site as suggested by others on this forum. In a general way, what would I be buying in terms of history and such. Specific information on this boat I've got along with the original brochure--but what's the scuttle-butt?

In particular, I'm looking for single-handling information, what are these boats worth (I know few were made and I have seen some mention that these are not "true" Pearson's since the hull was a US Yachts design), and any other helpful information. The boat's in great shape and the engine she runs. Would need a head sail furler cause I'm lazy; otherwise nice.

She'll be a lake cruiser: daysailing and weekending with possible week long stays during the summer months. Admiral, first mate (10), and myself. No more than 5 I'd think.

Any thoughts?

Thanks much!

These boats are not true Pearsons. But you already know this. Not long before Pearsons demise they purchased several moulds from US yachs the
builder of the ubiquitous Bucaneer. If you want a true pearson look elsewhere

thanks

bffatcat,

thanks for Dan's web site address, but it's the same as I'd found earlier and only has a few cached pages from the site--and nothing I can pull up on this boat. An email to the address provided bounced the first time and i've had no reply when I got it right the second.

piper.
