Hello All, I recently bought a Pearson 30 that has been sitting for a couple of years. After trying to figure out what is there and what isn't, I found this forum and was hoping some of you fellow Pearson owners might be able to help. First off, it is lacking a boom and mast spreaders, does anyone know of a good place to find Pearson specific used parts? It's definitely a fixer upper, which is what I was looking for. Now I'm starting to worry I won't be able to find a decent amount of parts. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Garth

What kind of mast?
Garth, First thing you need to do is find out what kind of mast you have (I'm sure you know, but it helps us if we do too.
) I have an Isomat on my 303, and rig-rite has parts : http://www.rigrite.com/Spars/Isomat_Spars/ISOMAT_Main.html There's very little on my boat that I would consider 'Pearson specific' - I could go anywhere for anything I needed to replace. Last week I was searching for a gooseneck for my P30 and I found it at Rig-rite, Inc. www.rigrite.com service was prompt and I have the part inhand. In case you are guessing the gooseneck connets the boom to the mast.

Also look at D&R Marine
I'm a little late piping in here but there's also a place on Cape Cod Mass called D&R Marine (www.drmarine.com) that has lots of Pearson parts. The guy's name is Rudy and he provides prompt, efficient, friendly service. I've done business with both Rudy at D&R and the guy at Rigrite whose name I will not divulge. My experience prompts me to give business to Rudy at every opportunity.
