I have searched my Pearson information and can not find specific data on the manufacturer of the gel coats. I did find that the glass laminates used in the years from about 1965 on were from W. R. Grace. But, I do not remember that Grace produced a gel coating.
Gel coat color can be matched by most good fiberglass workers. Over the years I have had several places repared on my P36 and you can not see a differance in the color. One repair is now fifteen years old and is indistinguishable from the surrounding color. I have no idea what gel coat brand was used as I left it up to the "expert" glass worker. I would suggest that you ask around about the best glass person in your area and look at their work.
