Pearson 28-1 New Rochelle
The previous owner of my Pearson 28-1 used a flexible holding tank, and it is time to replace the permeated setup. Has anyone put in a regular polyethylene tank? If so, what were the dimensions? Or, if you kept the flexible tank, what brand would you recommend? Thanks.

You definitely want to replace it (and most likely all the hoses too)--with a top quality rigid plastic tank. Ronco Plastics (no relation to the VegoMatic Ronco) Ronco Plastics marine Tanks is your best source. They make TOP quality thick-walled water and waste tanks for a very reasonable price and have more than 400 shapes and sizes, over 100 of which are non-rectangular, and they install fittings in the sizes and locations specified by the customer when they make the tank.
The v-berth is the best location for it...hopefully something else hasn't been installed there that would prevent it. I'll be glad to help you work out the details.
