pearson 27 engine

got a pearson 27 with no engine and trying to find out what type engine was in the boat. best I can come up with on the s# is PEA98016M64E kidda rubbed out the 9 might be a 0. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Frank

My 1990 Pearson 27 has a Westerbeke 12B 2 in it.

Based on the serial number, this is a Triton Yacht built by Pearson when owned by Grumman.

See this for a description of the Triton boats. No mention of the engine other than it was a diesel.
