Pearson 24 Lark Questions

Hi, Looking for anyone who has sailed this boat. We would like to know how she sails generally her sailing characteristics. We am looking to step up from a 19' Flying Scot daysailer to a Pearson 24 so the wife and I can day sail it on lake St. Claire and overnight in it at the marina. We understand this is going to be like camping out but the marina has nice amenities. Thanks, Mark

I've had the good fortune of enjoying this boat the last few weekends. She's very stable and rigged easily to single-hand. I think it would make a great boat for a couple as you describe.

Adequate galley and ample room for 4 overnight if you wanted. We use a portable head, not the original beneath the seat - so not sure if that is awkward for you or not.

Full keel makes her nice and stable. Just got back from a gorgeous Easter sail on the SF Bay this afternoon. I wish you the best if you pick her up!
