I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
It seems that most sailors are good for passing on a good deed. I have received a few good deeds and I have given out a few too.

Today I helped a friend at my dock by sewing in a leather protector one of the batten pockets on his main sail. He has a Catalina 30 (hull number 5808) and my Catalina 30 is hull number 5800. He has the same full batten (round batten) main that I have (except he has two reef points, which I wish I had).

I think that what makes this community unique is that we do look out for each other and pass good things on.

Give yourselves a pat on a back and keep on passing on the good stuff!

This is one of the reasons I love belonging to our yacht club. It is full of people that will go out of their way to help each other, both sailing related or otherwise. Sailors are damn good people.
