I have an ST50 wind speed/direction transducer on my mast head, the hurricane took most of it off the mast. I am in need of the screw in transducer that sits on the masthead and contains the wind speed cups and the wind vane showing the direction. They are on a rod that screws in and can be easily replaced. Problem is it is no longer available and the new one ,ST 60, doesnt show the wind speed. Any info is appreciated as where to find one. Patrick, pn335@yahoo.com

Try Raymarine UK

A year ago I wrote them expressing my irritation after reading that they were not available. I personally think the manufacturer of an expensive integrated system has an implied obligation to provide longer support than some single-item stand alone manufacturer. Anyhow, Raymarine UK informed me the transducer parts were indeed available. So, I'd invest a call to them. Hope this has not changed in a year. Rick D.

ST-60 shows true and apparent wind speeds

at the flick of a button. I used to have an ST-50 on a previous boat and its rod and that of the ST-60 look the same on the outside. Just had a look at the screw-in end of my ST-60 wind transducer (I take it off the mast for the winter) and it has 5 pins. I remember the ST-50 has having 5 wires so it must have 5 pins as well. There is a white sticker near the pins bearing the following number: CE A22012 0200494. If I was you I'd check again or call Raymarine tech department to see if they are interchangeable. Hope this helps

I checked on this.....

I checked on the ST 60 and it does fit, it will show the direction, but not the speed, according to Raymarine tech guys.
