Parts for early model boats

Where does one search for parts for early model boats (Hunter 25, 1977). Having just purchased my first Hunter, which is in really nice shape for its age, I still need to make some minor repairs and have had a difficult time locating any place which deals in replacement parts. Have not had a response from Hunter web site. I live in the Minneapolis area.The first specific problem is that there are broken hinges on the forward adjustiible window (OK,it's probably not called a window...I can use help with terminology too)! Looking for suggestions on replacement of hinges, window, etc. Anyone know where a complete owners manual can be had (even a copy which I would be happy to pay for).Thanks to anyone who can help!John

Parts for Hunter 25

You might try some marina's which handle Hunter sail boats. I live in WI, had to have new hatch, I found someone to use the old one and they made me a new hatch.suzandjack@aol.com

I own a 1977 H 25. I contacted hunter for parts (tiller head) and was told that the manufacturer that hunte was using at the time is no longer in busseness. You may have to have some parts fabricated.  For $5 Hunted will send all the info that thay can dig up on your boat, however what they sent me was mostly sales orented and not very mechanical.Goood Luck

OWNERS MANUAL

I HAVE A ' 81 25H THAT I JUST PURCHASED PRIVATELY.. HE SAVED THE OWNERS MANUAL TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST IT DOSNT HAVE MUCH HELPFUL INFO RE RIGGING IT DIDNT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND I HAVE ALOT, IT ALSO HAD INFO FOR OTHER MODELS MIXED IN . I KNOW YOURS IS A DIFFERENT YEAR BUT I THINK THEYE THE SAME BOAT IF YOU WANT A COPY ... ILL SEE WHAT I CAN DO... QOTI@YAHOO.COM ... MAYBE YOU CAN PASS ON ANYTHING YOU FIND ESPECIALLY RE MAST COMPRESSION , I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR....LOTS OF LUCK....
