Parts for Cal 28-3

Need to replace the 'Centering Clamp Assembly', on a Hood 810 roller furling. Tried Hood, they are useless. Anyone know of an after market supply house that carries old Cal sailboat parts?Thanks in advance.Frank

Looks like a $26 part from Hood/Pompanette. What was the problem when you contacted Hood? You can find and order online. I've ordered several parts. I'm including the link below for the centering clamp (part #18 in the figure).

Same old problem

Thanks for the information....Had lots of problems with them.....they sent me the wrong bearings and then said I gave them the wrong information.....yeah, that's what happened, NOT! Anyhow, by the time the correct bearings arrived and we installed them, it was too late in the season to get underway for our destination.....BUT that, as they say, is water under the bow and we are looking forward to bigger and better horizons..... The link was very thoughtful....thanks again...The Cal came with a large quantity of resource materials including several manuals for the Hood 810 Roller Furler....sure makes it easier when needing information.....I have information for anyone needing details about the 1987 Cal 28.Frank
