Would anyone have a Daysailer II parts boat that would sell me a deck plate for the inspection port on the deck? Thank You

Beckson makes deck plates in a number of sizes and can be ordered or bought at most boat supply stores like West Marine or Defender.

Those 2 deckplates are easily replaced at any marine store that sells the BECKSON items as Joe mentioned. D&R Marine (www.drmarine.com (508) 644-3002) also stocks them, and Rudy might even have some left in the off-white that matched my boat (1979) perfectly. I did have to slightly enlarge the opennings in the cockpit sole to fit the Beckson units when I replaced the original PYI brand units. However, all it took was a bit of work with a rasp/file and some sandpaper. The old (original) ones had broken before I bought my boat and leaked, they also had too fine a thread and were hard to open/close. The new Beckson screw-in plates are GREAT, and their coarser thread makes them much easier to use! Plus they have o-ring seals which the originals didn't.
If you order the plates from Rudy at D&R it usually works better to call rather than use e-mail to follow up on an on-line order. I am lucky enough to live within a short driving distance (about 30-40 minutes) to D&R and love stopping in to see Rudy.
