Pamlico Report *pop

I moved our C-320 from a hurricane hole in Durham Creek back to her slip in Broad Creek yesterday. I saw a lot of small stuff floating, but didn't see (or hit) any of the bigger semi-submerged junk you would expect after a storm of that magnatude. I crossed the Tar at several points over the weekend and noted that it was high and running fast. I expect that it will carry a bunch of debris that we will see in the Pamlico for a few weeks. Be careful out there.

Didnt see a thing

Took a lovely sail with my wife yesterday in the upper Neuse and only saw the grassy stuff and some small twigs. Great day for it. cole

Tnx for the report. How is the winter for sailing camaraderie in New Bern and Oriental, NC? Do you sail in the winter?

Neuse was fine

We sailed in the Neuse River yesterday also. Great day for sailing. We sailed from Oriental over to South River, just a bit further north to the sound and back. Saw very little debris in the water. Also took the ferry at Cherry Branch - Minnesot Beach both ways and didn't see anything.

All year Long

I sail my boat out of Sheraton marina all year long. Mid winter can get pretty cold though.
