Pairing the remote control with the swim platform on an Oceanis 40.1

All of a sudden, our remote control quit making the swim platform lower or raise on our Oceanis 40.1. I assume it is a pairing problem, since the battery in the remote control is fine. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. We have a Beneteau Oceanis 40.1, not the Hunter 41DS listed in this forum (I can't get it to update).

Bumping this post, my remote is not working on my 2014 Beneteau Oceanis 55 either... but for my windlass. I had one remote for the swim platform and another for the windlass. After changing a dead battery for the windlass remote, the remote is controlling my swim platform now. story of my life!
