Greetings all. I'm undertaking the exciting prospect of cleaning and hopefully painting the bilge. I have some excellent cleaning materials, but on the topic of painting it, does anybody have any good suggestions for what type of paint to use in the bilge and where to get it. Normally, I wouldn't do a painting job in the winter, but it seems like the bilge area is always going to be a little musty and damp. I'd be interested to know if any of you had bad luck with flaking or the paint not grabbing properly. I checked west marine and shewryn williams. West has some stuff, but it's really pricy, and the guy basically told me it was glorified deck paint. But the Sherwin-williams people didn't trust their paints to stick to fiberglass (which has been painted once already)or to last submerged under water. Glad to hear any advice. Thanks Josh
