Has anyone ever painted an aluminum mast and boom? Anything special one needs to do? Considering painting mine white.

Are you happy with the boomkicker and did you eliminate your topping lift? Reason asking is that my topping lift gets in the way of my new mainsail. Sure would like to eliminate, but not break the bank. Your paint job looks awsome !
