Finally got the photos

It took awhile to get to the boats for pictures - even longer considering I had forgotten to bring the camera a number of times:doh: - but I got some pics of the rudder assembly.

Hopefully, they are what you need. I probably have the specs written down somewhere as well - just PM me if you really need them.:D

One modification I would make to the original rudder would be to add two inches to the leading edge to inprove steering effort.

I already have the boards cut but not fiber glassed so that is still doable. My question is do I need to make both top and bottom wider or just the bottom. I can still split it to make it thicker.

Just the leading edge under the boat, take a good look at the picture of my rudder.

What you are looking for is two inches in front of the pivot point.

You don't HAVE to add to the leading edge but the benefits are kinna like power stearing and a little more area.

Yeah. I see that. Think I'll do it just for the kicks, LOL
My saw man is about to shoot me with all this. LOL The god news is, one we get the sawing part done, he is going to be so happy!

Well the fiberglass stuff came so as soon as the saw guy gets my boards done, and the weather is warm enough I'm gonna be getting busy playing with the goop. respirator time.
