I used the Bio-guard 2 gallon kit this past spring for an epoxy barrier coat
on my Ballad. It seemed to work as advertised, no blush etc, but it did
take me two coats not just the one. That's to say there was enough material
for two coats I just couldn't get it to lay on that thick. I will let you
know next year how it works with the Interlux Micron Extra bottom paint....

i have had a broker tell me that you can use Sears Weather Beater... and only
Sears Weather Beater as a suitable deck paint.. that it would last years and
looks great and only costs $30.... i am going to go that route with sand as a
non-skid.. will cost me $75 to do the deck and a lot of prep work... time
will tell...

Hi Dan, I used an Exterior Latex from Sears and went the sand route also. It
worked great and lasted for years. Came off easy with Jabsco paint stripper
when we replaced it with Treadmaster. I plan on going back to sand as the
Treadmaster didn't hold up in the Mexican sun. It was also expensive and
added a lot off weight to the boat. Walt
