I have a 1977 Hunter 30' and I pulled the packing gland out of the boat to clean it up and repack it (pulled the shaft to engine coupling, etc.). The packing glad and stern tube have an outside diameter of 1 and 5/8". I found one person who had exhaust hose with an inside diameter of 1&5/8", but no one has the heavy packing tube hose. Help! Anyone kown where to buy this stuff? I gone to all the local marine supply houses and called Hunter Marine Corp, but no luck? All anyone has is 1&1/2" or 1&3/4" I.D.
