P420 4jh3 rsw pump

Sea water pump on 2002 CC P420 with 4jh3e needs to be replaced. Pump is directly on motor mount & one bolt unremoveable because of mount. Assuming must remove mount, any suggestions? rebuild mount so can access easily in future?

My 2001 H420 has a Yanmar 4JH2 engine, ( not a 4JH3). You might want to double check which engine you have before you purchase a new raw water pump.
I have not had to replace mine, so I'm not sure about attachment.
Since the motor mounts are now 13-14 years old, it may be better to just get a new motor mount as well as water pump if it's impractical to remove existing pump from mount.

10 years later...I answered my own May 1 2014 this forum. I pulled motor mount, redesigned it, took it to a fine welder who took it apart & re-welded to my design. It fit back well, with a bit of adjustment and seawater pump now comes off & back on easily. Thx

You might consider my 4JH impeller upgrade. That will be a great long term solution
