I’ve had my 93 Passage 42 for two years, and I have fought many battles and made many changes. The one area that I feel I have failed in is water leaks. Now, I have stopped some of them but I have more new ones that are more difficult than the ones I fixed. I believe I have the rear keel bolt leaking. I noticed last year when the boat was in the slings a space at the rear where the keel meets the hull. Shortly after I seem to have more water in the bilge on a regular basis. Any P42 owners had this problem before? At head level in the rear cabin on the port side, there is a leak on that small port. The problem is that it’s coming from somewhere up above between the outer and inter shell. I’ve also considered along the rail where the cap joins the hull. Either way, I can’t find the darn thing. The last one I’ve got, I believe I have figured out. This one is on the port above the stove. I replace the gasket on the port and still had a leak. Where I believe it’s coming from is between the frames that mount the port. It will take two people, one to hold the screw head and one on the other side to turn it. I have never taken apart the frame, it there a gasket or is it just a sealant? One last thing, any of you know where I could purchase fitted sheets and bed spreads for the P42?
