Jim What size holding does my 95 Passage 42 have.... Peggy said the eletric macerator type heads installed, use 1.5-3 gal. water per flush.............so I'm trying to determine approxamately how many flushes per pumpout visit..... Thank you, Jim

2 different sizes
There are 2 different sizes. It depends on what year boat you had. The earlier boats had a 26 gallon tank. Later boats have a 35 gallon tank. Have you looked at your tank? My boat is a 91 and it's on it's 3rd tank. I put the bigger tank in this time. We livaboard and can get a full week out of the tank before it needs to be pumped out.

Actually, we're usually working or running around during the week so we're probably not aboard as much. We count 10 sec. for every flush. I'd guess it's about 1 gal. per flush. We installed a Wema tank monitor gauge when replacing the tank and it really takes the guesswork out of when to pump out.
